Welcome to my
ꨄ︎ Kete of Knowledge ꨄ︎
In Te Ao Māori, the Kete (basket) is more than just a container. It is a symbol of knowledge, gathered and held sacred.
In mythology, the Three Baskets of Knowledge (Ngā Kete o te Wānanga) were retrieved from the heavens to be shared with humanity. The belief is simple: when knowledge is shared, everyone thrives.
There is a beautiful whakataukī (proverb) that guides this space:
Nā tō rourou, nā taku rourou ka ora ai te iwi.
With your food basket and my food basket the people will thrive
This page is my contribution to our collective basket. Here you will find evidence-based articles, practical tips, and the science of play—tools to help your whānau grow.
